When a major earthquake strikes, and fires, landslides, or floods seem
imminent, the local government or fire department may call for an evacuation.
Evacuation calls would be issued on the TV, radio, the community wireless
system, or by vans with loudspeakers, so be sure to pay careful attention.
There are three types of evacuation calls, according to the level of
risk, that could be issued by local government offices.
